I also would have purchased the Bells pack. Such a great price. I am over the buying only “indie”. All of the people working for the “non-indie” companies need jobs too. I just buy what I like. If you think about it, most people work for companies that were once independently owned. But over time the independent company was purchased and/ or absorbed by larger companies. Markets, electronics companies, banks etc. Most are no longer the independently owned but are part of a larger group.
Homie, I would totally buy the Bells pack, just not from that stack ( we on a budget) ... looks like a hot table in the background, that will ruin any beer with the heat oozing from it!
Larry Bell didn’t want to sell his company to a big beer company but he didn’t have anyone in his family that wanted to buy it or take it over. So he chose to sell it to kirin so the people at the company could still have a job. So I still buy it
I agree with you on the "Craft Beer/Indie Beer support" deal....
It used to be so easy, local if you can, and regional from there.
With Stone, Lagunitas, Bell's [which i did not know about]
and SO many others... hard to know what to do, but like i mentioned in your other post, Kern River Brewing is Awesome, and they are now employee owned i love that AND kern ships to my house, more greatness.
I did have a Two Hearted IPA , [for the first time] when we were in Iowa the other week, it was OK but kern has some that are better...

I like your thinking, chief.

Thanks, chief.

The only kind of buy-out I respect. You might have convinced me to buy it.
Loved variety packs…years ago! Going into a brewery for the first time and they allow mixed four packs is nirvana, little “n”! Prost!!!
Variety packs are becoming my favorite thing.
