I bet you’re right. Afternoons seemed to be for the olds 😆. I rarely get to start drinking during those times so I miss out and end up with the youthful crowd in the evenings and night
I’m late to this one, maybe cus I’m old 😂🤣, I feel you Mikey… but I’ve noticed one thing here in LA, the 40+ crowd does day drinking at breweries then fishing the evenings at a beer bar/ Tap bar . When I walk into a brewery, the vibe when the sun is out is all directed to me and my crew ( wife, my friends 45+ , my son, son’s friends 23+) once the the sun starts to set all attention is directed to the crowd of YD (young drinkers) and we are lost to the dusk. When at a beer bar, the staff tends to be a mixture of my age 45+ and my sons age 25+, which makes me feel at home. There at Glendale Tap , as you walk into from the patio or front door your greeted by a smile and a raised half empty glass of beer with dry lacing clinging to the inside of the glass letting you know , there is no rush, from the 60something year old LDr (local drinker) . You’ll get some YDs that will hang for beer or two then head out to a bar or paperback brewery around the corner. By 10pm the vibe changes back to day drinking, classic rock and old skool HipHop .
Cheers Mikey,
I’m raising my half drank glass of beer with lacing hanging tuff as you walk into Glendale Tap.🍺
Yeah I have noticed that it’s more of us olds out in the patios during the day and the layer it gets the younger it kids. But I guess it’s always been like that.
I’m revamping FRESFRESH from only food to everything fresh in Fresno. That includes covering newsletters like yours and Joshua’s. If you’re okay with that (I’ll give you more details) could you ask Joshua about it also?
Interesting, from what I've heard, I bet Goldstein's has a LOT more old guys since Sequoia closed, at least in the 3 to 5 pm ish time.

I get the same. I chalked it up to getting older.
