Mikey, I do the same thing. I read the description and then order the beer. I have had some good beers and some just okay beers. But in the end I had a beer decent beer. I stay away from sours and farmhouse ales without a taster.

Yes, that is a good policy - If I go outside a style I know, a taster is a good choice
