I need to start asking for tasters before ordering an IPA or even a Pale.
You see, sometimes they end up being hazy when there was no indication of it on the menu description. And I am over hazzies…for now.
Yes I could always ask for a taster before, but I like to just go for it. Give me a pint and I’ll drink it, even if it ends up sucking.
But I am getting too many New Englands when I was wanting a West Coast, so I gotta start asking, I guess.
Music To Beer With
Top three songs I enjoyed while having beers this week:
Turnstile “Seein’ Stars / Birds”
The Killers “Mr. Brightside”
Chevelle “Point #1”
While I am at it, my favorite beer this week:
Flatland Brewing’s “Boombox Hero - Remix”, a delicious West Coast (CLEAR) IPA. (Flatland is a few hours North of me in Central California).
Thank you so much for opening and reading, Drinking & Thinking!
I have been going through some heavy duty personal stuff lately and it has zapped my creativity. But I am working through it and plan on locking in here and getting back to normal (every weekend) posting!
So, thank you for hanging with me. And happy Star Wars Day to those that celebrate - I am a big Star Wars dork so I didn’t want to let today pass without acknowledging it.
Cheers!

Peace ✌️ Beer 🍻 & Metal 🤘
Mikey, I do the same thing. I read the description and then order the beer. I have had some good beers and some just okay beers. But in the end I had a beer decent beer. I stay away from sours and farmhouse ales without a taster.
Sorry about your beer situation and the dealings your dealing with homie.
