I am as dirty as the next beer geek, constantly trying new beers, and bored with everything I have already tried.
“What else?” is the constant beer question.
I am adjusting though. Taking a more mature approach.
Instead of new beer heavy, I am going to buy more sure things. Beers I already know are good and cut down the percentage of new news.
Frankly, I am tired of being underwhelmed by new ones and even supremely disappointed. It feels wasteful of the money and calories.
Adjusting to a safer approach sounds better right now.
More beers I know will be good, while still leaving space for discovery.
Let me know your beer buying philosophy at the moment, in the comments.
Speaking of buying staples, it’s time to report on my Celebration Ale batch checks. I am currently at two different batches and three different canning times. And being in California, I have to assume they are from Cico and not Carolina.

I am basically considering anything with a different canning date as a different batch.
It is usually me and maybe Nick from the Perfect Pour, paying attention to these Celebration batches. But this year, Stacey is into it and people have been sending me pics of their Celebration batches and I love it.
A fun little game that everyone around the county can participate in; comparing batches.
Welp. I will let you go. Many thanks for the read! Hope you have a great Thanksgiving (if you celebrate) - just load up the cooler and fridge with Celebrations and you’ll have a good holiday for sure.

Peace ✌️ Beer 🍻 & Metal 🤘
Agreed. My new tries are from breweries that are super solid or ones I can buy as singles. I always buy something I know I’m going to like in case the new beers are awful.
This a great beer philosophy chief. I should start doing that too. There are a few beers that I do but again because I like them so much but I tend to waste money and calories on new ones that just aren’t worth it.
