You Are a Professional Beer Drinker
Beer drinking/being a Craft Beer enthusiast, is like any other skill, it requires practice.
You have to put in your reps.
Drink some beer styles you may not be into.
Drink some beers you don’t check-in on Untappd or display on Instagram - drink for you.
Actually, try to describe or find a flavor in a beer.
Know how NOT to get a hangover.
Establish a daily beer practice:
Water and Food.
Beer. Another beer.
Water.
Food.
Beer. Water.
Beer. Beer.
Advil. Water. Pass out.
Day over.
*This list may be used as a full day or a condensed three-hour session.
Lastly, to me, the most important basic skill as a beer drinker is to know if a beer is old or is just bad. Everyone says if you get “wet cardboard” flavor or aroma from a beer, it’s old. But I don’t think you even need that as a guide. You KNOW when a beer is old…[whispers] you’ve always known.

Should I have a fourth beer? It’s the fourth beer that seems to ruin the next morning. But when you want it, you want it. I really want it right now.
Update: I had it and I was fine. Due to the mild ALC percentages, water, and Advil before bed. Stick to the guidelines, people.
Have a Great Week of Pro Drinking!
Thanks for reading. Put in some reps this week. Get even better. Sharpen those skills. And we will talk next week.

I want to run the air conditioning with zero thought to the bill. That is a life goal. You know you have made it, when you set your A.C. or heat to the exact temperature you are comfortable at and never think about it again.
