Music To Beer With: Beer Never Goes Out Of Style

There has been no musician bigger in this country this year than Taylor Swift. Especially now that she is tackling an NFL tight end on a regular basis and came out with a reboot of one of her old albums this week.

So I of course thought to ask the question “Does Taylor Swift drink beer?”

Turns out yes, she does. I have seen a picture of her recently, parting it up in a box while the Chiefs played. 

Plus, there is that famous basketball game where she is courtside and enjoying life as all beer-drinking people should be:

So she does in fact drink beer, even if (according to my research) she doesn’t do it a whole lot. She at least does it.

Good for her. And good for beer.

We need to see more popular people just having a good time with a beer.

Like Taylor or not, the more beers her fans see her drinking, the better it is for beer. #facts #beernevergoesoutofstyle

DRINKING DIARY: FARMHOUSE EDITION

I like to at least attempt to be an open-minded guy. Please people on both sides of the aisle. Stuff like that.

In craft beer drinking that means trying styles you don’t like and have written off. This week I tried a Farmhouse again, for the first time in quite a while.

Maybe I have evolved enough as a beer connoisseur that I can enjoy a Farmhouse:

Nope.

Farmhouse still sucks. Even from an excellent brewer like Pure Project.

At least it wasn’t as bad as I remember a Farmhouse being. So that’s something?

I just need to age a bit more.

A beer I DID enjoy this week, was Electric Lettuce from Moonraker. Not only was it the best beer I had this week, it’s one of the best I have had this year. When you do Mosaic and Citra correctly, I am paying attention, and Moonraker did it correctly.

Okay. That was rad of you to read this. I hope you got through the Taylor Swift content okay. I never thought I would be writing about Taylor Swift either, it’s weird ground for both of us.
