Something to watch with your beer: Ripley

Hi.

Today’s post is just a couple of recommends for a good beer & watch. First is the new series on Netflix, Ripley.

Yes, it has to do with that movie with Matt Damon as it’s built from the same source material, but is its own thing.

How it ties to a Drinking & Thinking crowd is, a backdrop character (if you will) is a lifestyle of having a source of income that allows lounging around all day; a beer & relaxing lover’s dream.

Ripley has:

• Being by the ocean.

• Beautiful weather.

• Seeing people you only feel like seeing.

• Picking your schedule on when you can start drinking.

That feeling of being on vacation all the time. Day drinking without messing up your life.🤣

This is not what the series is about at all, but it is something that spoke to me while watching and I think you’ll spot it too.

The other watch is Fallout (Amazon Prime). I have never played the game (although I want to now), so don’t worry, you don’t need to know about it to enjoy it.

If you like zombie-type stuff but without all the dumb zombies, this is for you.

I am three episodes in and it pairs well with double IPAs and Hazy beers. Actually, it’s one big IPA of a watch.
