My Top 5 IPAs
Too soon for pumpkin beers, I know, but look at that excellent label art from Chicago’s Off Color Brewing.
I guess it’s not too soon if you actually like pumpkin beers.
I don’t get mad at pumpkin beers no matter how early they come - I’ll mess with a few during the season. But ONLY during the season, I have zero interest in them after Thanksgiving.
That goes for winter spice beers too, after NYE I don’t want to even look at them.
They are really the only two styles I’m that way with - I guess I’ve been seasonally programmed well by the Beer Overlords.

It’s very difficult to choose and it changes often but mine, as I write this, in no particular order, and all from California - so I guess mine is pretty regional too:
Pliny The Elder - Russian River (Santa Rosa).
Mai Tai - Alvarado Street (Monterey)
Like Riding A Bike - Urban Roots (Sacramento).
DDH General Sherman - Tioga Sequoia (Fresno)
Citraholic - Beachwood Brewing (Long Beach).

My Favorite Beers I Got A Buzz Off Of This Week!
These two new beers were the best ones I had this week. No big surprise they were IPAs - both ‘clears’ too.
AE 3021 - There Does Not Exist Brewing in San Luis Obispo, CA.
Wires & Strings - Bike Dog Brewing in Sacramento.
Feels like we are going through a back-to-clear-IPAs phase now. If not a surge of clears then a waning of hazzies.
