Hi. Thanks for opening.
This has been my favorite label for the past two weeks:
The color, the beer (it’s good), the ramen. But the best part are the little kitties in the bowl. Well done, Urban Roots Brewing (Sacramento).
Links To [Shower] Beer
To bring some awareness to water conservation, a colab beer was made by Northern California’s Devil’s Canyon Brewing, Epic OneWater Brew and a company called Epic Cleantec.
It’s the ultimate shower beer.
They used greywater (filtered shower/sink/dishwater) to make a Kolsch. It’s apparently “drinkable” and the writer joked that it’s much better than a Keystone Light, at least.
Matthew Canton, the Guardian writer who tested the beer, described it as "pleasant," "crisp" and "drinkable," with "no notes of shower or laundry."
So, I guess there is hope if we run out of clean water someday.

What To Watch with Your Beer
Since there is a writer’s strike (fully support the writers on this), there is not as much to watch this week (the Pete Davidson hosted SNL got cancelled). So it’s time to catchup on some other stuff.
I will say the final season of Barry is great so far, so if you’re an HBO person, that is a must watch. The NBA playoffs have been pretty entertaining too.
Might be time to bust out the old BlueRays - physical media is the best.
Okay. I know you have plenty of beers to go enjoy so I will let you go do that. Find some sun and a good non-greywater Kolsch to enjoy and I’ll talk to you next week.

Peace, Beer & Metal!
I had no idea there was a writers strike, I was wondering why my Grey’s Anatomy wasn’t on Hulu the past 2 weeks. Thanks for heads up.
Btw, not sure about grey water beer, makes me queasy just thinking about it. Maybe someone could make a rain water beer, rich with smog and minerals from LA wash basin. 😂
Have a great week, always nice to read from ya! 👍🍺❤️
