Hi. Thanks for opening this up. Here is what I plan to be drinking during the game today. Yep, it’s a Lager. But it’s new and cool and local, so it makes it okay:
It’s football so you got to pair it with at least one Lager, yeah? Moving on…
Sometimes I want to be a music blogger and sometimes I want to be a beer blogger. That’s why you get both here at Drinking & Thinking.
Drinking beer while listening to music in a focused way, is my passion.🤣
Music makes you feel things and beer erodes the barriers your brain sets up to stop you from feeling the things. So it makes sense to mix the two.

I got this one from Leo over at
, in case you didn’t know there is a Radiohead-member-heavy band called Smile. They have a new song out called “Friend of a Friend” and the video is wonderful. Just real little kids watching the band perform the song. The video director gives you a window into seeing how how the kids connect or don’t connect to the music, and dammit, it’s just fun to watch with a beer in ya, even a little emotional:It’s the Super Game Bowl and that means Bug Light will be featured at some point. I said on the Perfect Pour last week that “Bud Light: Hey, It’s Still Beer.” should be their ad campaign. It’s the only way Budweiser could ever get to me, by playing into my beer sensibilities. I am looking forward to the commercials more than the game this year, so there is that. And I hate how most of the commercials have already been released out there, it kinda fucking ruins it for me. #LagerDay
Okay. I will let ya go. Please have a nice week for me, go easy on yourself and we’ll talk later.

I forgot to include in my voicemail which team I’m routing for, can ya guess chief? 😂
