Hi. Sorry I’m late, day job got in the way today. I need a beer real bad now.
Do we like this guy? I think we like this guy.
Breaking news from your cousin from Boston, Sam Adams is now “brighter”.
And without hearing anything or looking up anything I am going to guess that brighter (in these times) means it’s now a little less malty.
[searches Internet for any stories about Boston Beer Co changing the recipe for Sam Adams]
Okay I am back, here is what I found from Boston Beer Co:
Through decades of brewing improvements, Boston Lager is now brighter and easier to drink than ever. All without changes to the flavor that made you fall in love with Craft Beer in the first place.
This brings two questions to mind:
1.Does this make me want to try this updated Sam Adams? It kinda does, yeah.
2.Are there any Sam Adams bros that are upset about this change? Nah… well maybe…Naaaah.
Apparently this is old news as they made this announcement earlier in the year. Guess the next Texas Roadhouse visit I get pulled into, I’ll give it a try.
Drinking Plan For The Day Week
I’ve been waiting for this one. Last year’s version was excellent and by the looks of the breweries Liquid Gravity collaborated with this time, this years “Welcome To” will be excellent as well. (Still waiting on that Fresno brewery colab though…)
Speaking of colab things, I wish and hope for Sierra Nevada to bring back their Beer Camp colab 12-packs:
They were so freaking awesome, 12 different beers in the 12-pack even mixing bottles and cans in.
I think Covid killed it off, but I would love to see Sierra return to it. 🙏🙏🙏
Okay, I’ll Talk To You Later
Hope you find some good colabs too this week. Many thanks for the read.

Peace ✌️ Beer 🍻 & Metal 🤘
I am curious about the updated Boston Lager too. If they claim the flavor is the same but it’s easier to drink would imply it has less dextrins and/or proteins while basically the same malts but a slightly different variation of said malts.
