Five Favorite Things From The Weekend

I am again a little late posting so let’s wrap up instead of looking ahead. My favorite things this weekend.

1.On Friday, I watched as the infamous RoaringKitty (he of Gamestop buying & holding fame) came back to YouTube only to offer next to nothing to his viewers and lose himself millions of dollars in the process. But that is kinda why people love him.

Anyway, he was having a beer during his broadcast but I never figured out what it was. He said it came from a green bottle, but that looked like a Hazy or maybe a Hef, and I don’t know of anyone that makes something that looks like that and puts it in a green bottle. 🤷🏻‍♂️

2.That meme from DontDrinkBeers - Midwest & Eastcoasters try so hard to make Westies but they can’t help make it crystal malty.

3.Sitting out on my personal beer garden (aka my patio) watching this baby cloud:

Sometimes it’s the slow & simple things in life for us olds.

4.Enjoying this Fifty Fifty Brewing’s “Capa” Pale Ale at Yardhouse:

We make fun of Yardhouse (and often rightfully so) but on this day I got a nice fresh Pale from an Indie brewer I don’t see often. 🍻

5. Shameless plug time, Friday’s episode of our podcast, The Perfect Pour, was an enjoyable one as Rad_Stacey gave a review of this year’s Firestone Walker Invitational Beerfest - it turns out it was a low-energy fest this year (beer is getting a bit old it sounds like).
