Heads Up

San Diego has ~150 individual craft breweries. A HUGE number of them were called out in the reckoning against sexism/abuse in the industry. To date, only 5 (that's 3.33%) #SanDiego breweries are participating in #BraveNoise. That's fucking pathetic and I'm embarrassed for us.

Sadly this was the first I had heard of Brave Noise. John Holl has a good write up wondering what the lack of knowledge and brewing of this colab, is all about.

Maybe now that people are like “Wait. What is going on?” breweries will start making more.

I Gotta Jam Outta Here, Man

Sorry to cut things short but I will be off to drink some San Diego beers soon. Probably hitting up Pure Project (not sure which one), Burgeon and who knows what else. I ‘ll tell ya about them next week.

It’s my first trip to an out-of-town brewery for two years so I am stoked!
