I can’t tell you how much I love this picture of Harrison Ford and Director Ridley Scott, working out stuff before filming Blade Runner.
As a big Harrison Ford nerd (I have a podcast about him) AND a beer nerd, this picture checks all my boxes.
Seeing Harrison laying on the floor is so very… Harrison. And it’s so very beer too. Having a couple beers and being creative and relaxed is what lo-fi beer drinking is all about and that’s why I love it.
I wonder what scene or Dekard character trait the two were working out. Maybe they were just talking about life. It’s magical what a couple of big cans of beer can do.

I have only read a small handful of beer books (is TWO a handful?) I dig the premise of this soon-to-published book from Jonny, I might actually get it when it comes it at the end of the month.

Oh and yeah, GABF, did you know the Great American Beer Festival happened this week!? Well I didn’t until, like, yesterday. Check out a PDF of the winners here and Porch Drinking also has the winners if you want to wade through the insane amount of categories to see who won Best IPA.
Hurricane Ida hit Decandent Ales hard. Everything got flooded, taproom and brewing equipment all under water. They started a Go-Fundme page if you’re interested in helping out.
Why are there times when you have a beer and you start getting sleepy right away (day-drinking or not)? Well, I did some investigating and have some solutions, maybe.
Beer drinkers are looking to get less shit-faced with lo-ABV beers.
