Craft Beer Has Returned to Hobbyists and That is Fine

Hi. It’s Mikey. Thanks for opening this. I have some beer geeking things to pass along to you.

Walkin’ around Downtown Fresno drinkin’ 16oz-ers

Last weekend I went to a festival in Fresno. It’s not exactly a beer festival. It’s a festival about Fresno, but it does use the Tioga Sequoia Brewery as the centerpiece.

So you might run into a beer geek, but it’s mostly just regular people having a good time. Very crowded - although Tioga made it real easy to get a beer as there were can stations everywhere.

The only place not overly packed was a small taproom/beer bar within throwing distance from Tioga Sequoia, the Rec Room.

It seems the place to hide from crowds now are beer bars. I am kinda okay with this.

As long as good Indie beer places continue to exist, I am fine with the Craft Beer boom being done for now. Let the bros and scene people have their hard seltzers & sodas.
