Welcome. So, what are you doing for Labor Day? This is what we are looking at here:
I guess I have to drink Lagers, yeah? Dammit. It’s probably the worst thing about the heat.
There has to be a better style high & dry temps. It’s not Hazzies. Not IPAs in general. Obviously not Stouts.
It’s Pales, right? Or halfway with a Cold IPA.
Just don’t be forced into Lagers on hot days - unless you like that sorta thing.
What Is A Good Water-to-Beer Ratio For The Heat?
Some of us are complete idiots and just drink beer and don’t eat or drink water all day. For those of you that want to be smart in this heat but still drink beer, here is the basic rule of beer-to-water intake:
Have at least one 16-ounce glass of water with every 12-ounce beer or 4 to 6 ounces of liquor, for example. Water can replenish your fluids and help you stay hydrated.
That seems like an excessive amount of water to me. But it definitely would keep you properly hydrated and keep you drinking (somewhat safely) all day, so why not?!
If you want the full rundown of why we need water and such when drinking the beers, check this article.
These Are Beers That I Will Drink
That is not going to be enough to get me through the weekend. A beer-run will be needed.
Watching Now
If you are reading this Saturday morning/early afternoon there might be time to watch this:
Live all day at Wembley Stadium is the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert:
One More Thing
Happy college football season to those that celebrate, and to those that like colabs:
Okay, I Gotta Get
Hope you have a great weekend (and week) with your beerz! Stay safe. Many thanks for the read!
