I agree with all the points made here by Pints & Panels.
I don’t get a metallic taste (anymore - if I ever really did) when drinking from a can. And it’s going to be the same beer (or better than bottled) when you pour it into a glass.
All her points are true. Except…
Beer is better to drink directly out of a bottle.
The bottle is more enjoyable to drink from. It always has been and always will be.
Bottles are better for standing around drinking. You’re at a backyard thing, a party, or your front porch, it just feels better drinking from a bottle. More relaxing somehow.
Glass on your lips is better than aluminum.
We are going to lose that feeling and even opportunity someday.
You have to get a six-pack or 12-pack. There are very rarely singles or 12 or 16-oz beer bottles for sale.
There are not the bottle options there used to be. Bombers are harder to find.
I remember being a big can-fanboy when they started getting more popular in the Craft Beer world. Still love them and the can art they produce.
But the old man/contrarian in me, is yearning for bottles now. This can be your beer-buying prompt this week: buy some bottled beer!
Six-pack. 12-pack. Bomber. It’s all glass and it still has clout.
Where Have You Been?: Pitchers!
Dude. Bringing back pitchers? This is genius from Arts District Brewing (Los Angeles).
I don’t know about where you are but pitchers have been mostly removed from places here.
At some point business owners felt we all were having too much fun, so they stopped making pitchers available.
Big cheers to Arts District Brewing for bringing them back. Maybe this will be a trend in the taprooms this year. Pitcher holding fingers crossed.
Thank you for opening and reading. I love that you are here and I hope you have a great week with your cans or bottles!

Peace ✌️ Beer 🍺 Metal 🤘
P.S. If you want to get a jump on your Father’s Day shopping, I have a list on Amazon worth scoping out. Cheers!
I had a couple pitchers with Steven Zack and Rick Davis a couple months ago at Bowlero. I wish craft beer places would do pitchers too. I’ll start asking for pitchers when I go to Incinerati and Pendragon now.
I just recommended it at Incinerati. We’ll see what happens, don’t get your hopes up.
