Hi.
I am so pumped - welcome to Spring, the best time to be drinking beer!! Cracking open the first beer of the day in the afternoon sunshine, there is nothing better.
Even more pumped because San Diego’s, Pure Project (the beers I got are pictured above) is now at my go-to grocery store!! What a great time to be alive!🎉

A perfect post from across the pond at Boak & Baily - sort of a statement/reassurance post about how you should be liking beer:
Be into beer as you need to be.
I love this post (wish I had written it).
Sometimes I we can get too wrapped up in how much we should be putting into our beer geeking. These are thoughts always grinding through my head:
What hops were used? Where were they grown? At what point of the boil were they introduced? Should I be tasting that?
How old does this taste? Is it oxidation or is something else wrong? Is ANYTHING wrong? What’s HAPPENING!?
I should be into Sasions by now. Farmhouse Ales, I should probably know more about Farmhouse ales. Do I suck for not liking Sours? For hating Allagash White?
Trading beers. I gotta get into trading beers and know that world.
On and on and fucking on my our minds go. And (to Boak & Bailey’s point too), that is totally fine. There are much worse things to get nerdy about than beer.
Point is, enjoy beer as much or as little as you want and don’t feel bad about it either way.
Other hobbies are cool too (I have too damn many) and all of mine go great with a beer.
Beer is a great hobby to pair with other hobbies, no matter what level of geek you are.
