I am figuring out that the bar is the place to be if you’re alone, as I am most times.
I mean the actual bar of a place, not a bar in general…just so we know what we are talking about here.
And yes, you might be thinking, “Duh, Mikey. I know this.” Well, I have been out of it for a long time, give me a break, man.
The bar can also be for couples who want to hang out but don’t need to sit and stare at each other at a table. If you have ever been in a loooong relationship and you are boring to talk to (that’s me), I suggest sitting at the bar.
Even when there is a good patio, the bar is now the go-to for me - and I freaking love patios.

I think you probably knew this already, but if there’s a chance you’ll have another beer, it’s better for your favorite establishment if you leave your tab open.
explains: One Tab Opens, Another Tab Closes.Sticking with our taproom/bar theme, I enjoyed this educational graph from Pints & Panels:
There ya go, a quick and rare mid-week post. I hope things are setting up for a nice weekend for you. Enjoy your beers!

Peace. Beer. Metal.
I honestly do not go to 'bar's very often anymore. But i've opened a tab as long as i can remember.
I've never been comfortable in a bar chair. I really miss the wing back chairs of Bulldog Brewing on shaw, and maybe it started with the brewery there before Bulldog? Ahh to sit in a wing back chair, and be waited on LOL probably not good for turnaround business
Speaking of bar stools, not everyone appreciates it when you offer to push in their stool lol
