Hi. Thank you for being here.
While reading
this week, I came upon an SF Gate article about a somewhat hidden beer garden & brewery in the Sierra Nevada mountains. This place was seemingly made for me. Sadly it’s not in my part of the Sierras (I’m Central), it’s in the Lost Sierra section, North of Sacramento/Tahoe. Otherwise, it sounds perfect.
Reasons it looks magical:
Hidden away in the pines of the Sierra Nevada mountains.
A lot of space and places to hang outside.
Good beer with a well-rounded taplist and beers named “Take It Outside” and such.
Live music is not just the normal mountain bluegrass. They often feature harder acts, and even have an annual punk festival.
I wish it weren’t so far up there dammit, even still, I want to go.
If you ever go to Sacramento/Chico/Tahoe or are doing the Pacific Crest Trail, it might be a good side hike to check out. I hope to someday.
Thanks for opening. Sorry I was hiding last week and didn’t post. Hope you have a good week enjoying some beers.
-Mikey
P.S. I am reviving my YouTube channel, if you’d be interested I would really appreciate it if you subscribed. Cheers!
Hi Mike. Thanks for high lighting us in this issue. I know I said I was going to close down, but I found it heartwarming that readers wanted us back, even if I only posted links. I think some weeks I’ll post more but for now until I get this political newsletter going well links it will be. Although I’’m thinking of writing about food/restaurants reviews on Your Golden State as a perk for paid subscribers of actual places Patti and I have dine at. Also I’m still working on the idea for a magazine/newspaper Golden State with longer stories. I’ll never give up that idea unless it isn’t possible.
That looks absolutely amazing!! Next Tahoe visit we are so there! Thank you for sharing, have a great week. So fun zooming with you! 😉❤️🍻
